WELCOME TO Govt. Polytechnic College, Adoor

Government Polytechnic College ,Adoor is one of the growing Polytechnic in Kerala having course of study in three disciplines , Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Technology, and Architecture. Among these Polymer Technology and Architecture are taught only in a few colleges in Kerala. This Institute was founded in the year 1964 as a Junior Technical School. and was upgraded as a polytechnic in 1994.It is located in a calm and quiet village area at Manakkala , 4 km from Adoor town.

The institute has its own landed property of 11.6 acres . Various co-curricular activities are taking place in the campus under NSS , Bhoomithra Club ,CE Cell, E.D Club etc..These organizations contribute a lot in the overall development of the students and in enhancing unity and social awareness among them. The Placement cell of the college also has been functioning well , giving placement to the maximum number of students in India and Abroad

The College has been maintaining a very good academic record for the past years obtaining top grade point in the various disciplines. The Govt. of Kerala has sanctioned the construction of a three storied additional buildings in the college campus ,to enhance the academic facilities.

The Adoor Nirmithi Kendra is located in Our premises and a good number of ALUMNI are placed in major industries in India and abroad.
